If for no other reason, watch this film to see Christopher Jones. His character Max Frost, a malcontent teen and rock star, is like James Dean meets Jim Morrison. His songs are corny and over-the-top in a Java Jive kind of way that I just love. The idea of not trusting anyone over thirty is taken to a bizarre extreme. Adults over thirty are imprisoned and fed a daily dose of LSD while the kids take over the entire country. Now there's an idea. I think a movie about the personal life of Christopher Jones would make a better film, talk about a weird dude. But, if your in the mood for a good (tongue firmly planted in cheek) cult flick I'd have to recommend this one.
I gave this movie a rating of 4 stars.
